These documents come from the "Collège héraldique de France, Archive de la Noblesse," a private institution founded in 1841. They were acquired after being sold at Hôtel Drouot between 1935 and 1937, and each bears the institution's seal certifying its authenticity.

Among the prominent figures of the family is Charles Bennet, 1st Earl of Tankerville (1674-1722), known as Lord Ossulston between 1695 and 1714. He was a British nobleman and a member of the House of Lords of the British Parliament, playing a significant role in the politics of the time.
