This ring is part of a collection inspired by the symbolism of Caribbean Voodoo, a spiritual tradition born in the 18th century in the Caribbean islands, where African beliefs and elements of Catholicism coexisted and culturally blended.
The piece features a small carved skull, a symbol of transformation and spiritual power within many Afro-Caribbean traditions. Inside the ring is hidden a green tourmaline, a stone associated with protection and balance.
The ring has been handcrafted by Galician jeweler Santiago Prada, using sterling silver, with a combination of polished, matte, and patinated background finishes that highlight the relief of the piece.
