Richter Anchor No. 2½ "Dresden" - Classic German Miniature Architecture Set
Richter Anchor Building Sets are considered today one of the most influential construction systems in the history of toys. Their design allowed for the construction of authentic architectural structures using perfectly calibrated artificial stone blocks.
Set No. 2½ "Dresden" belongs to the compact models of the Anchor series and allowed for the creation of different classical buildings using the plans included in the manuals.
Although it is a smaller set, it offers an interesting variety of structural blocks with which to build temples, towers, or small arcades inspired by European architecture.
These blocks were part of the childhood of many future architects; the founder of the Bauhaus, Walter Gropius, remembered playing with Anchor sets as a child.
The set retains its original box.
